…and Music in the Halls. Where there’s a Will, there’s 4-hands and a beautiful tenor voice to thrill to. Will is a community band and choir director, a multi-talented, accomplished musician who hails from Lockport, NY. Will taught music at School 45 with me, and went on to sing with the best at IU Bloomington and UB. But Will is also an art collector and curator of Kenan Center’s recent show of American Impressionist painter and Lockport native, Frank Penfold (1849-1921). Will recently brought over a lovely gift: a piece of folk-art for our burgeoning window display. Will, we needed to cover a bulge on the wall – so this is a temporary home…Thank you, Will!

We love it! More art shows to come!
(He knows we have a “thing” about cellos!)Another piece made its way into this photo – covering another wall imperfection…L. Cohen said, “forget your perfect offering, ring the bells that still can ring!” ~Elise
